Markowsky Draws in a Fighter Plane | 2015 | D: Mike Peterson | 30 minutes | Canada

MARKOWSKY DRAWS IN A FIGHTER PLANE chronicles the 6-year journey of artist Michael Markowsky, which led him to draw in a RCAF CF-18 “Hornet” fighter jet and subsequently make giant paintings and sculpture to share that experience with others.

The Little Deputy | 2015 | D: Trevor Anderson | 9 minutes | Canada

The Little Deputy follows director Trevor Anderson’s quest to have his photo taken with his father. His journey takes him from 1980s West Edmonton Mall to 1880s Fort Edmonton. Part documentary and part Western, it was shot entirely on location in Edmonton.

Finding Edge Road | 2015 | D: Brandy Yanchyk | 52 minutes | Canada

Finding Edge Road looks at how immigration is challenging a small city in Finland. It explores how the city of Lieksa in Eastern Finland near the Russian border is dealing with a recent influx of new asylum seekers from Somalia and Iraq.
