From selecting your subject to deciding on a ‘style’…and let’s not forget the multitude of funding models out there! – there’s an awful lot to consider. This invaluable 2-hour panel/workshop will allow you to ask all those burning questions – leaving you exhausted, elated, and INSPIRED! Our expert panel includes:

Think you’ve got the PERFECT pitch for the PERFECT film that absolutely needs to be produced?? Well now’s your chance to ‘wow’ our panel of experts – the only catch is: you’ll be doing it LIVE, on-stage, in front of an audience of your peers!
That’s right – come armed with your best 2-MINUTE pitch…doesn’t have to be a doc idea – it can be for a documentary OR narrative film. Feature length film ideas only – no TV, and no shorts. Our judges will pick their 5 favorites to come back up on stage to present a longer, 6:00 minute, ‘fleshed-out’ version of their pitch.
The judges will pick their favorite pitch, and the winner will receive an amazing prize pack, including 2 Full Conference & Networking Passes to this year’s hot Docs Film Festival, and more! Well also let the audience vote for THEIR favorites, and we’ll have prizes for the top audience vote-getter also!
